Richard L. Scarbrough, D.D.S., P.A.  dr.s

Dr. Richard L. Scarbrough was born and raised in West Memphis, Arkansas. His education has enabled him to provide only the best and most effective treatments for his patients. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Dental College in 1995. He has also completed a Fellowship in the Academy of General Practice Orthodontics as well as the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Scarbrough strives to stay ahead of technology and keep up-to-date on any new information available in order to continue to provide patients with the greatest level of care. He has recently been named an elite provider by 6 Months Smiles and is a member of the Arkansas Dental Association, Academy of General Practice Orthodontics and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Scarbrough is active in his local community, and is active in Marion Rotary Club, Marion Chamber of Commerce and the Marion United Methodist Church. He has served on the boards of Marion Youth Sports Association, the Mid-South Community College Foundation and the Crittenden Regional Hospital Foundation. He is also a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Marion United Methodist Church.

He currently resides in Marion with his wife, Pamela, and their two sons, Landon and Layton. When he isn't following his sons with their many sports, he enjoys hunting and camping with his family.

Dr. James T. Johnston earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Northwest Arkansas Dental Society. He is on the board of directors of Delta Dental Plan of Arkansas. He has served on the Marion School Board and the Mid-South Community Foundation Board. He is active in the Marion Rotary Club and the Marion United Methodist Church.

Dr. Johnston established the practice in 1966. After many years in a solo practice, Dr. Johnston sold his practice to Dr. Scarbrough. He now works alongside Dr. Scarbrough three days a week. He is also involved in a dental transition company named Paragon. He enjoys his extra time helping other dentists buy and sell dental practices.

Dr. Johnston and his wife, Carol, have three children which have blessed him with five grandchildren. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and rock hounding.
